Vardan Ghukasyan calls secret meeting of City Council
A new entry entitled "Protocol N10" appeared on the website of the Gyumri Municipality on Oct. 5.
After opening the document, Levon Barseghyan, a newly elected member of the Elders' Council, was surprised to learn that it was the minutes of the City Council meeting dated Sept. 13, 2012.
It turns out that four days after the local government elections [Sept. 9] Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan convened a secret meeting of the Elders' Council.
During the meeting, which usually lasts 10-12 minutes, the attendees adopted 27 decisions. It was decided to discontinue the activity of four kindergartens and open another four. Besides, about ten amendments were introduced to the earlier decisions concerning the sale and alienation of lands.
Twenty-one days was needed to place the information on the web. Are there new surprises to come?" Levon Barseghyan wrote in his article published in Asbarez newspaper.
