Opinion: Tsarukyan was to attend NA sitting
Andranik Kocharyan, Chairman of the Centre for Democracy, Security and Development, says the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) was wrong in its decision to boycott the parliament voting.
"I find it strange that the BHK leader [Gagik Tsarukyan] did not attend the parliament sitting today as I think that the entire faction was to be present at the meeting and demand that the prosecutor general elucidate his petition to revoke BHK MP Vartan Oskanian's immunity. I cannot explain the party's decision to boycott the sitting but they were supposed to find out [with their participation] whether the petition was a political order or not," said Mr. Kocharyan.
