BHK preparing response to Prosecutor-General's petition
Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) is taking measures in response to the Prosecutor-General's petition to strip BHK MP Vartan Oskanian of parliamentary immunity.
The party's central office today convened a meeting to consider the Prosecutor-General's petition to involve Oskanian as a defendant in a money laundering case filed against his Civilitas Foundation.
"We find the petition to be unfounded. We are going to submit to the National Assembly our observations and arguments, to be more precise, the truth, leaving them all to draw corresponding judgment and evaluation, BHK Spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan told A1+.
The party will inform the public on its further steps when the petition is debated at the NA plenary session.
