Heritage Leader addresses letter to S. Sargsyan
Founding leader of the Heritage party, Raffi Hovhannisian, has addressed a letter to Serzh Sargsyan, posing 15 requirements concerning the country's future, current situation, challenges and their possible solution.
"Since you declared the conduct of free and fair elections as a priority, we suggest that you meet these requirements," Mr Hovhannisian said in the letter.
The Heritage leader demands that
the president and all government officials resign as Chairmen of Board of Trustees of Armenia's higher schools;
the ruling Republican Party of Armenia led by Armenia's president stop its activities at the Armenian presidential residence;
educational system have no party affiliation;
all parties have access to mass media;
equal conditions be provided for competition;
the ruling Republican Party of Armenia led by Armenia's president stop its activities at the presidential residence;
threats and pressure on mayors, heads of communities and villages be stopped.
