BHK candidate wins mayoral elecions in Yeghegnadzor
David Harutyunyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), has won Sunday's mayoral elections in the city of Yeghegnadzor, Vayots Dzor marz, with a difference of 300 votes.
Harutyunyan heads BHK's local office.
His main contender was incumbent Republican Mayor Sirekan Babayan, who had been heading the city for 12 years.
Remind that the election campaign in Yeghegnadzor was marred by accusations and insults.
