NKR President congratulates Armenians on Independence Day
President of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic has congratulated the Armenian nation on the 21st anniversary of the country's independence.
"I cordially congratulate you and our nation on Independence Day.
The Armenian nation looked forward to that day for centuries. And now it is already 21 years since the independent Armenian has been a reality and occupies its worthy place among other countries embarked on the path to democracy.
September 21 is a holiday for all the Armenians in Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora, a day that unites us around a common idea. This is the noble idea of having a powerful and developed homeland. The best sons of our people sacrificed their lives for this very idea. For this very idea every day and every hour we must continue our struggle to implement it. We must struggle together and united, continuously enhancing and increasing our victories and success, our achievements and accomplishments.
I congratulate you and all our compatriots once again and wish peace, welfare and prosperity for the glory of Mother Armenia and its bright future," Bako Sahakyan said in the message.
