French, Azerbaijani Presidents discuss Karabakh peace deal
French President François Hollande received on Tuesday his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
The leaders of the two countries discussed a wide range of international issues, RFE/RL's Armenian service (Azatutyun.am) reports.
They also discussed the current state of negotiations to settle the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. François Hollande called on Azerbaijan to take measures to restore the atmosphere of trust with Armenia, which, he stressed, would greatly contribute to the ongoing peace talks brokered by the OSCE Minsk Group.
