Armenian FM receives OSCE Ambassadors

On September 7, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received about 20 Ambassadors accredited to the OSCE, who arrived in Yerevan on a regional visit.

The Armenian official noted that 2012 marks the 20th anniversary of Armenia's membership to the OSCE and over these years Armenia has contributed to the raise of efficiency and reputation of the organization.

Minister Nalbandian added that the OSCE Office in Yerevan has greatly contributed to the reforms implemented in Armenia, development of the civil society and solution of ecological issues.

At the request of the Ambassadors, Edward Nalbandian presented the main directions of Armenia's foreign policy, Armenia's relations with neighbouring countries, as well as the country's approaches towards the resolution of regional conflicts.

The discussions with the OSCE Ambassadors will continue tomorrow, Sept. 8.
