Will special session of National Assembly be called?
It is not ruled out that a special session of the National Assembly will be called on September 5 to discuss the extradition of Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijan and granting a pardon to him by Ilham Aliyev. In 2004 Safarov brutally murdered Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan in the capital of Hungary, Budapest.
It should be reminded that at the August 31 session of Armenia's National Security Council, President Serzh Sargsyan, speaking about the steps to be taken by Armenia in this connection, particularly said: "It will be correct if the National Assembly of Armenia calls a session and discusses this issue". On the same day Armenia officially suspended its diplomatic relations and all official ties with Hungary.
