A group of citizens of Armenia will gather outside the Armenian Foreign Ministry at 12.00, September 1, to hand a letter of demand to the country's foreign minister. Then the group will march to the Consulate of Hungary in Yerevan to protest against the extradition of Ramil Safarov, who axed Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan during NATO exercises in Budapest in 2004, Hayazn Union reports.

The Union blames the extradition on the Armenian side as well and says the country has failed to pay proper attention to the issue and, as a result, become powerless to change anything.

On August 31, Ramil Safarov was extradited to Azerbaijan where he was pardoned by [Azerbaijani President] Ilham Aliyev.
