New members of OEK known
After the holidays, the first sitting of Country of Law Party (OEK) will be held at 7 pm today. Deputy Chairwoman of OEK Ms. Heghine Bisharyan told A1+ that political and organizational issues will be discussed, adding that the issue of nominating two OEK members - former spokesman for the Defense Ministry David Karapetyan and Nelson Zuroyan for deputy ministers is likely to be discussed as well. When asked at what ministries, Ms. Bisharyan noted: " It is not only their issue that we will discus. I cannot add anything".
After the parliamentary elections OEK declared that it would be dissolved and include new members. Ms. Bisharyan said today the reorganization process has been completed'.
"Some old members have also been included in OEK . The party is going to work well," she stressed.
Asked about the number of OEK members, Ms. Bisharyan replied that it is not very essential as "a party is a living organism that undergoes changes. I think that it is no use announcing their number that will change".
As for the 2013 presidential election, OEK will not field its own candidate. "OEK will support the coalition political force, the presidential candidate, leader of Republican party of Armenia (HHK) Serzh Sargsyan," OEK deputy chairwoman said.
