Armenian FM receives Austrian Ambassador
On August 27, the newly appointed Ambassador of Austria to Armenia Alois Kraut (seat in Vienna) presented the copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
Minister Nalbandian voiced hope that the bilateral relations between Armenia and Austria would further develop and reinforce during the Ambassador's tenure in office.
Mr. Kraut expressed gratitude for the reception and assured that he would spare no effort to contribute to the reinforcement of Armenian-Austrian relations.
The Armenian official noted that the official visit of the Austrian President to Armenia in June and the agreements reached between the leaders of the two countries gave new impetus to the reinforcement of bilateral relations.
The parties discussed the steps taken towards intensification of scientific-educational and cultural exchange. Reference was made to Armenia-EU relations, as well as a number of regional and international issues.
