Court dismisses charges against Samvel Alexanyan
A court in Yerevan today dismissed the case filed by Vardges Gaspari, a member of the Armenian National Congress (HAK), against MP Samvel Alexanyan.
The Court of General Jurisdiction of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts found the charges filed by Gaspari as groundless.
Vardges Gaspari accuses Samvel Alexanyan and his escort of hooliganism and demands that they be held accountable.
On June 21, Alexanyan and his men approached Gaspari outside the parliament building where the HAK member was protesting against the Harsnakar scuffle and seized the poster he was carrying and knocked him to the ground.
Gaspari also demands punishment for the police officers who were standing nearby and did not care to interfere with the incident.
