Sardarapat Movement calls on NKR authorities
STATEMENT
The presidential elections held in Artsakh serve as ground to record that the elections have created conditions for the political awakening of the people.
The Sardarapat Movement expresses its support to the political opposition that is emerging in Artsakh these days and voices hope that it won't repeat the devastating acts that the so-called opposition of the Republic of Armenia committed in an underdeveloped political system through the formal, classic schemes, but will follow the new political culture, the imperative for the formation of political and governance systems that are adequate to that and will carry out its activities in the domain of solving issues of national concern by, first and foremost, becoming fully involved in the pan-national fight for renewing Armenian statehood and consolidating all Armenians in the homeland.
Sardarapat Movement calls on the existing Artsakh authorities to view the solution to issues related to Artsakh by considering the pan-Armenian factor as supreme and, by overcoming the sectors and passivity, fully participate in the solution to pan-national issues, the most urgent of which is the enlargement of efforts aimed at preparing for targeted resettlement in the liberated areas for the possible repatriation of Armenians from countries of the Near East, particularly Syria.
Sardarapat Movement will be ready to take decisive steps and warns the forces and persons responsible for making political decisions on issues related to Artsakh to refrain from pursuing political goals at the expense of the future of the nation and the homeland for the sake of the interests of the clan and personal interests, particularly the temptation to impede the development of the opposition, much less the temptation to pressure and apply force against the opposition.
