Hakob Hakobyan: "People have come to persuade me"
Two candidates will be contesting the seat of Etchmiadzin Mayor in the local elections set for October 9.
Incumbent Mayor Karen Grigoryan, the son of General Manvel Grigoryan, and former MP, member of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Hakob Hakobyan will compete to fill the mayor's seat in the city.
"At first, I did not want to run for the office but now I am undecided. People have come to persuade me to participate in the upcoming elections. I do not know how I can refuse them," said Hakob Hakobyan.
