Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts has rejected the appeal filed by Tigran Atanesyan, a representative of Armenia's former foreign minister Vartan Oskanian. Atanesyan demanded that the Court drop the money laundering charges against the Civilitas Foundation founded by Oskanian.

Asked why the Court decided to refuse them, Mr. Atanesyan said laughing, "And why do you think they rig elections in Armenia?"

As the lawyer said he was unaware of the judge's decision to reject the appeal which was heard behind closed door. Mr. Atanesyan also informed A1+ that ‘the court today announced the final part; the whole decision will be publicized on Tuesday.'

In the appeal, Atanesyan demanded that the Court dismiss the money laundering charges filed by the National Security Service against Oskanian's Civilitas Foundation.
