Oskanian's complaint to be heard behind closed doors
Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts started hearing a complaint filed by Tigran Atanesyan, a legal representative of Armenia's former foreign minister Vartan Oskanian.
In the complaint, Atanesyan demands that the Court drop the money laundering charges against Oskanian's Civilitas Foundation for lack of corpus delicti. The National Security Service of Armenia has already initiated criminal proceedings against the Foundation, which according to Atanesyan, is rough violation of his client's rights.
As Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan said the court hearings shall be held behind closed doors as it appeal refers to pre-trial proceedings.
Vartan Oskanian is involved in the case as a witness.
