On the 20th of July, 2012 the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan's Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts has sentenced to imprisonment HAK activists, executive council members of Pan-Armenian National movement Youth Union Tigran Arakelyan and Sargis Gevorgyan, HAK activists Artak Karapetyan and David Qiramijyan.
Obviously illegal and fictitious criminal case was investigated almost a year and the activists' innocence was proved both during the investigation and trial. Moreover, it was provet that te criminal case was a political order , a manifestation of the revenge of the gangster state leaders. And those who should be sentenced are the policemen who had used violence towards young people. Whereas, Judge Gaguik Poghosyan has made a sentencing decision towards the HAK activists instead of justifying them.
