Armenian FM receives Germany's Ambassador to Armenia
The newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Armenia, Rainer Morel, presented the copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
Congratulating the guest on new diplomatic mission, Minister Nalbandian hailed the dynamically developing Armenian-German political dialogue and the comprehensive cooperation. The Armenian Foreign Minister voiced hope that Ambassador Morel would contribute to the further reinforcement and expansion of bilateral partnership between Armenia and Germany.
Ambassador Morel highly appreciated the cooperation between Armenia and Germany and assured he would work hard towards deepening bilateral relations.
Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Morel discussed the perspectives of expansion of cooperation in the educational, cultural and educational fields.
The interlocutors dwelt on the Armenia-EU cooperation within the framework of the Eastern Partnership Program.
The parties stressed the importance of the mission of Armenian peacekeepers within the German contingent in Afghanistan.
The interlocutors discussed a number of regional issues of reciprocal interest.
