Fire in Istanbul
A fire broke out in the 42-story Polat Tower in Istanbul today.
The 152-meter high building is located in the Beshiktash district of Istanbul and includes several stores, offices and hundreds of apartments.
According to Governor Hussein Avin Mutlu, the fire broke out due to a low-quality air conditioning system. If there were no ladders on time, a great catastrophe would be inevitable.
Currently, there is no information about victims and injured parties.
To put the fire out, helicopters have arrived at the scene to help firefighters, reports Izvestia.
For security purposes, all roads located near the building have been closed down.
