Sociologist Aharon Adibekyan is rest assured that the incumbent president of Nagorno-Karabakh will stay in office and that there won't be a second round after the July 19 presidential elections.

According to the sociologist, out of the 90,600 citizens of Karabakh with the right to vote, 75 percent will participate in the presidential elections and will cast their votes for the incumbent President Bako Sahakyan.

Twenty-five percent of the votes will be distributed among the other two candidates, including Pro-Rector for Education and Research at the Armenian Agrarian University, Arkadi Soghomonyan and non-partisan deputy of the NKR National Assembly, Vitali Balasanyan.

Aharon Adibekyan says he has found out why Vitali Balasanyan won't score a victory.

"He is going along with the same scenario that many unsuccessful opposition forces in Armenia are going along with. They look at everything negatively, don't try to be realistic and don't try to garner the votes that they suspect receiving."

Adibekyan doesn't agree with Vitali Balasanyan's statement that there has only been downfall in different spheres in Artsakh over the past five years. Adibekyan is also certain that presidential candidate Vitali Balasanyan won't be able to raise a wave of social discontent.
