Deputy Governor arrested for bribery
The deputy governor of Kotayk marz (province), Levon Mikaelyan, has been arrested while taking 40,000 AMD in bribes from a school principal.
During his tenure in office, Mikaelyan periodically demanded bribes from local school principals for not conducting regular inspections in their schools.
A criminal case has been filed. Investigation is underway.
