After the May 6 parliamentary elections, leader of "Country of Law" Party (OEK) Artur Baghdasaryan announced that he would be disbanding and restructuring all the party's territorial structures.

"Generally speaking, things are moving forward. We receive many applicants wishing to join our party," said Minister of Emergency Situations, OEK member Armen Yeritsyan.

The minister said he was unaware of those leaving the party, but he didn't deny that there were people leaving the OEK either. "They are not many in number, but they generally come and go, as is the case for all political parties."

Yeritsyan says he doesn't intend to leave the party and doesn't see himself holding any other office.

Armen Yeritsyan says he is offended by the statements that the OEK doesn't have its own image and is simply an attaché to the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK). "It's a lie, that's all. Our party has always been active. It will continue to be active and will develop."
