“HHK is politicizing the incident”
The "Vahe Avetyan" social movement is declaring a pan-Armenian candle-lighting day on the occasion of the 40th day following the death of military doctor Vahe Avetyan, who died as a result of a beating at Harsnakar Restaurant.
The members of the movement have no doubt that the RA Police is trying to conceal the criminal case in relation to the death of Vahe Avetyan.
Member of the movement, ex-Ombudsman Larisa Alaverdyan says the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) should express its clear-cut position on the murder of Vahe Avetyan since the murder, according to Alaverdyan, has a political subtext.
"This means that politicization of the murder is not only through actions, but passivity as well. It is being politicized, and the ruling party is the one doing that," said Alaverdyan.
