Environmentalists to celebrate Constitution Day at Mashtots Park
Teghut Protection Action Group - an action group struggling against the construction of illegal kiosks in Yerevan's Mashtots Park - calls on everyone to celebrate June 5, Constitution Day in Armenia, at Mashtots Park.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the group said constitution was their main weapon in the struggle for the park.
On June 5, people visiting the park will have an opportunity to listen to speeches on the importance of constitutional order. The group will present its stance on the recent tragic incident at the Harsnakar restaurant and publish a manifesto summarizing the principles and objectives of the struggle. The event will be followed by a concert.
