Alexander Arzumanyan declines to say BHK
The criminal case against [Armenia's former foreign minister] Vartan Oskanian is politically motivated, says Alexander Arzumanyan, a member of the Free Democrats Party.
He says the political context behind the case is evident as Vartan Oskanian, who once held an important post in the country, today is a key member of a leading party [Prosperous Armenia -BHK] and a possible candidate in next year's presidential elections.
"It is strange that Oskanian's party [BHK] does not fully back him and only says that they plan to invite international experts. However, I think it is upon the Prosperous Armenia to decide," he said.
Throughout the press conference, Mr. Arzumanyan refrained from using the word BHK and said the ‘second key party in Armenia' or ‘Oskanian's party' instead.
"I wonder whether the Prosperous Armenia is an opposition or pro-government party after all," said Mr. Arzumanyan.
