The Karabakh conflict cannot be solved without Karabakh's involvement in the talks, Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said during an interview with Armenpress news agency.

The Armenian FM reminded Armenia's stance expressed before the Kazan summit in 2011 according to which the Basic Principles cannot be considered as finally agreed upon without the approval of Artsakh.

"After an agreement is reached on the Basic Principles, the development of peace treaty is impossible without Nagorno-Karabakh participation," said Edward Nalbandian.

He noted that the president of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan confirmed and expressed support for Armenia's position.
