EPP Chairman receives Serzh Sargsyan
Serzh Sargsyan met on June 28 with Martens, Chairman of the European People's Party (EPP) Wilfried.
The two men discussed the expansion of cooperation between the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and EPP, dwelt on the relations between Armenia and the European Union, implementation of comprehensive reforms in Armenia and the country's political domain. They also discussed the steps being taken toward reinforcement of democracy in Armenia, as well as regional developments and challenges.
The interlocutors discussed the extending of EPP-RPA cooperation, Armenia-EU ties, conducting comprehensive reforms in Armenia, the latter's domestic political situation, the steps being taken toward strengthening democracy in the country, and regional developments and challenges.
They underscored the importance of HHK MPs' membership to the EPP factions in inter-parliamentary bodies.
