Yeganyan meets Chairman of Canadian Senate
On June 27, RA Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan had a meeting with Chairman of the Canadian Senate Noel Kinsella. The main topic of discussion were the Armenian-Canadian inter-parliamentary relations, and both sides stressed the sufficient level of those relations with satisfaction.
Ambassador Yeganyan presented the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and expressed gratitude to the Canadian side for its balanced position.
The RA Ambassador expressed gratitude for the Senate's recognition of the Armenian Genocide, mentioning that international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide was a universal issue.
Upon the Senate Chairman's request, the RA Ambassador presented the experience in the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, the result of which were the Protocols signed in Zurich which, unfortunately, aren't respected by the Turkish government.
