There is a danger of war
Expert Richard Giragossian says Azerbaijan's frequent violations of the ceasefire regime are only after one thing.
"Azerbaijan is seriously and intensively preparing for a war that may start in, say, 2014, and in this case, the international community's pressure is required to stop Azerbaijan."
Giragossian says the situation that has been created is a serious threat not only to Armenia and Karabakh, but the international community and the Minsk Group as well.
"From the angle of the military, Armenia is ready, but this goes to show that Azerbaijan is the only threat to peace in the region," says Giragossian.
Talking about the interior political developments, Richard Giragossian underlined that the disagreements that the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) had before the parliamentary elections may become more intensified ahead of the upcoming presidential elections.
