Putin prayed in Jerusalem
President of Russia Vladimir Putin prayed near the Wall of Tears at the temple in Jerusalem, reports Сегодня news website.
The Russian President, who has been on a visit to Israel since June 25, has visited the temple and has knelt in front of the tomb of Jesus Christ.
Putin then climbed to the top of Mount Golgotha to see the cross of Christ and then approached the Wall of Tears and prayed.
As the key rabbi of Russia mentioned, after Putin prayed, he recited one of the psalms of David in Russian and amazed those standing not too far away from him and particularly the monks and the faithful.
