Next Council of Elders session in September
The Council of Elders of Yerevan today unanimously approved the draft resolution on giving consent to the program called "Provision of the social package to employees of state institutions and organizations".
The members of the Council of Elders of Yerevan gave consent to the draft resolution on providing members of the Council of Elders with monthly financial compensations in the amount of the minimum wage of the Republic of Armenia from adequate sums foreseen by the 2012 state budget in Yerevan in exchange for the expenses that have been made as a result of the performance of the members' duties.
The Council of Elders also gave consent to the draft resolutions on alienating several structures that are part of the property of Yerevan city and providing the property for free use, as well as the draft resolution on handing several organizations under Yerevan city to the leaders of districts and delegating powers to them.
With this, the Council of Elders of Yerevan ended the activities of its 7th sitting. Summing up the sitting, Mayor Taron Margaryan thanked the Council of Elders of Yerevan for the efficient work that had been done.
The 8th sitting of the Council of Elders will be held on September 11, 2012, reports the Department of Information and Public Relations of Yerevan Municipality.
