Outgoing German Ambassador farewells Armenian Catholicos
His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received on Friday the outgoing Ambassador of Germany to Armenia, Hans-Jochen Schmidt.
The Catholicos reflected upon the close and friendly relations between the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the German Embassy and expressed gratitude to Ambassador Schmidt for his activities in Armenia and his efforts to strengthen contacts between the two peoples.
Karekin II also spoke about the Armenian community of Germany, its religious and cultural life.
At the end of the meeting, the Armenian Catholicos wished Hans-Jochen Schmidt sucess in his future undertakings.
