“Nobody should consider himself a saint”
"It turns out that Armenia needed 20 years to understand that the government has to regulate public services," said deputy of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction, ex-prime minister Khosrov Harutyunyan at the National Assembly today. The National Assembly continued to discuss the government's plan today.
Not all deputies agreed with Harutyunyan's view. Deputy of Heritage Party's faction Alexander Arzumanyan told everyone that they shouldn't consider themselves saints, to which Chairman of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan reprimanded Arzumanyan, telling him that no deputy should make a comment, if he or she doesn't like the given deputy's speech.
It is clear that Khosrov Harutyunyan is in favor of the government's plan.
Harutyunyan assured that the government led by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan was able to learn its lessons from the global economic crisis and proved its professional capabilities.
Deputy of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) Lyudmila Sargsyan tended to differ and underlined that the government's plan contained pledges that need to be looked at with precaution. In her speech, she mainly emphasized the sphere of nature protection and declared that she would vote against the plan.
Secretary of the "Country of Law" Party (OEK) faction Mher Shahgeldyan said he was content with the government's plan.
