OEK members resign
The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia repealed the registrations of deputy candidates Nelson Zuloyan, David Karapetyan, Diana Gaziyan from the "Country of Law" Party (OEK) during a special session today, taking into account the candidates' appeals for withdrawal.
Accepting as a basis Protocol N 2 of the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia "On considering the powers of Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Samvel Tadevosyan terminated" of 18 June 2012, the RA Central Electoral Commission has prepared a protocol on granting the mandate of the candidate who was elected and whose powers were prematurely terminated to the next candidate on the election list, Hovhannes Margaryan, reports the CEC press service.
