"It is time we drew conclusions"
The consequences of the rigged parliamentary elections are visible in the socio-economic sphere. Besides, political revenge has started on those parties that have preserved their political vitality, Democratic Motherland Party said in a statement.
"The political chases, which began against the Democratic Motherland Party in 1998, is continuing today. The confiscation of the party's central office at 12 Vagharsh Vagharshyan seems to be coming to an end. According to the May 18, 2012 decision of the Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service (JACES), the Party is forcibly evicted from its head office it has been using since 1996.
Though the state ensures the regular activity of the parties in compliance with the Constitution and Law on Parties, the authorities remain loyal to their slogans and secure progress to the political monopoly and return to a single-party system with all its grave consequences known to mankind.
It is high time political forces and society drew conclusions and prevented the recurrent ordeals threatening our people," said the party.
