Students to pay two-week visit for internship

RA Consul General in Los Angeles Grigor Hovhannisyan recently visited the Melikyan Center for Studies on Russian, Eurasian and Eastern European Languages at Arizona State University where he had a meeting with the university's students and professors.

The students had the opportunity to attend the RA Consul General's lecture devoted to the history of the formation of the Armenian Diaspora, the current developments, as well as the relations between Armenia and the Diaspora. In response to the questions, Grigor Hovhannisyan touched upon the latest developments of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, the U.S. Secretary of State's visit to Armenia and Azerbaijan's provocations that took place at the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact during the days of the visit.

During the meeting, the Consul General answered the students' and professors' several questions related to Armenia's foreign policy and the developments taking place in the region.

The RA Consul General also had a meeting with Armenian language students who will pay a two-week visit to Armenia for an internship to practice their Armenian language skills.
