Armenia’s First Lady richer than her husband
The First Lady of the Republic of Armenia, Rita Sargsyan, is said to be much richer than her husband Serzh Sargsyan.
In December 2011, Rita Sargsyan's fortune was estimated to exceed that of her husband's by 8 million AMD. The declarations of property and income received by the Ethics Committee also testify to it. According to the documents, in 2011 Serzh Sargsyan has not purchased fixed or mobile assets. He claims to hold no company shares as well or other investments.
There is not any mention about precious assets equivalent to or exceeding 8 million AMD in Serzh Sargsyan's declaration.
