The Constitutional Court has started examining the appeal filed by Levon Zurabyan, who was a deputy candidate running in the NA elections under the majoritarian ticket.

Zurabyan demands recognizing decision 16-A of the Precinct Electoral Commission N 9 dated 11 May 2012 as invalid. According to him, Republican Ruben Sadoyan was elected deputy as a result of the NA elections on May 6.

Based on Levon Zurabyan's appeal, "in the dispute related to decision 16-A of Precinct Electoral Commission N 9 dated 11 May 2012 based on the results of the May 6 NA elections under the majoritarian ticket", the case is being examined through the written procedure and the reporter is member of the CC Ashot Khachatryan.

Neither the plaintiff nor his attorney has shown up to court, even though the defendant's side had provided explanations two days ago.

The judge of the Constitutional Court has moved to the consultations room to take a decision.

We remind that Levon Zurabyan was a deputy on the proportional list of the Armenian National Congress (HAK).
