HAK: "Azerbaijan is sending a message to Armenia"
The opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) condemns the recent ceasefire violations that claimed the lives of Armenian servicemen.
The opposition alliance extends condolences to the families of the victims and expresses its support to the residents of the frontier villages.
"With this heinous crime that claimed human lives, Azerbaijan is sending a political message to Armenia and the international community; it is blackmailing the world in an attempt to change the status quo in the Karabakh issue."
"We condemn Azerbaijan's aggressive and offensive act. By that, Azerbaijan is also breaching the basic provisions of the OSCE Helsinki Final Act - non-use of force or threat of force, and peaceful settlement of conflicts. Azerbaijan has to realize that in case it resorts to aggression and provokes a large-scale war, it will meet a unanimous resistance by Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh," reads the statement.
