NKR Defense Army controls situation along contact line
Azerbaijan continues to break ceasefire along the line of contact between the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) and Azerbaijani armed forces.
From June 6 to 7, Azerbaijani armed forces fired thousands of shots in the direction of Armenian positions, using weapons of different calibers, reports the NKR Defense Army.
The subdivisions of NKR Armed Forces resorted to retaliatory operations, and suppressed the adversary's activeness. The Karabakh side did not suffer any losses during the skirmish.
"Despite the active offensive operations by the Azerbaijani army, the NKR Defense Army controls the situation on the frontline," reads the statement.
