The policy of "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" isn't justifying itself in the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, says member of Heritage Party Stepan Safaryan.

The politologist finds that the relations shouldn't be normalized in the military field, but the political one through the use of devices that haven't been used to this day.

"Armenia has to start a process against Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has been left unpunished several times due to Armenia's lack of a backbone to punish the country," said Safaryan.

According to him, the U.S. government has taken the lead in the Minsk Group and doesn't trust Russia anymore, and this can lead to several reforms.

"We have to expect to see the resistance between the West and Russia in Armenia and in relation to Armenia."
