Explosion near embassy
An explosion attempt was made at the U.S. Embassy in Bengaza, Libya, reports Сегодня.ua news agency.
The self-made explosive device installed in one of the embassy's inner walls didn't hurt anyone.
In its official press release, the U.S. Department of State has condemned the terrorist act in front of the U.S. Embassy and has appealed to the local authorities with the request to reinforce security.
The Libyan authorities still have no information about which forces stand behind the terrorist act. Investigation is underway.
