Free Democrats condemns Azeri sabotage at contact line
The Free Democrats party condemns the recent Azeri sabotage at Armenian-Azerbaijani border which left three Armenian servicemen killed and several wounded.
"We believe that a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has no alternative and demand that the international community give its assessment to the aggressive steps of Azerbaijan -a UN member country that roughly violates the norms of the international law.We also demand that the Armenian Defence Ministry take appropriate actions and raise vigilance along the line of contact in order to exclude repetition of similar incidents," the party said in a statement.
Free Democrats extends its deepest condolences to the families of the killed soldiers.
The Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact on Sunday night, trying to penetrate into the Armenian positions located in the direction of the villages of Berdavan and Chinari. The attack was halted by Armenian soldiers' brave actions. As a result of Azerbaijani sabotage, three Armenian were killed and five more injured.
