Hakob Avetikyan elected Chairman of Democratic Liberal Party
The founding session of the Democratic Liberal Party of Armenia (HRAK) and Armenakan-Democratic Liberal Party (Armenakan-RAK) took place in Tekeyan Center in Yerevan on June 3. During the meeting, the presentees adopted the following decisions;
1. HRAK and Armenakan-RAK should team up under the name of the Democratic Liberal Party (Armenia)
2. the newly formed Democratic Liberal Party (Armenia) becomes the successor of HRAK and Armenakan-RAK
3. the Founding Congress of the Democratic Liberal Party (Armenia) elected a Republican Council consisting of 25 members.
4. Hakob Avetikyan was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Democratic Liberal Party (Armenia)
5. the Democratic Liberal Party (Armenia) held its first session after the meeting.
