Putin to visit Yerevan later this year
The leaders of Armenia and Russia are likely to meet in Yerevan on September 7.
"In September, Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a working visit to Armenia. Putin and [Serzh] Sargsyan are on good terms," Konstantin Zatulin, Director of the Institute of CIS States, told reporters in Yerevan.
Speaking about the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, Mr. Zatulin said, "Azerbaijan should show less emotion in the conflict settlement. Putin is well aware of the Karabakh issue and many would not like him to come to power again," he stressed.
Konstantin Zatulin arrived in Yerevan to participate in the presentation of the book "Open Russia: New Image in Information Age." The book published by the Institute of CIS States portrays the Russian reality through the eyes of Armenian journalists. The book is co-authored by Alexander Markarov, Hrant Mikayelyan and Narek Galstyan.
