Bako Sahakyan is in Yerevan
On May 30, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan attended in Yerevan the 21st meeting of the Board of Trustees of "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund.
Bako Sahakyan congratulated the attendees on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Fund, noting that the organization has had an invaluable contribution to the formation and development of the two Armenian independent states, as well as to the widening and deepening of ties between Armenia and Diaspora. The Artsakh President said it is impossible to imagine the socio-economic development of our republic without the assistance of the Fund.
He proposed including the projects of constructing rural community centers into the 2012 program of the Fund.
Bako Sahakyan qualified the proportionate development of rural areas as the key component of Artsakh's strengthening, underlining that the construction of such centers would substantially contribute to activating life in the countryside. The proposal was accepted and included in the 2012 telethon program, Artsakh President's Press Service reports.
