Tsarukyan made things intriguing
Politologist Suren Surenyants is pleased to see that Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) decided not to join the coalition.
"Armenia doesn't need formal coalitions," said Surenyants.
According to him, Serzh Sargsyan probably had that in perspective by ensuring 70 mandates for the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) in the National Assembly.
The politologist says the BHK's decision is a good one ahead of the upcoming presidential elections. "There will be some intrigue in the presidential elections."
Surenyants doesn't know if the BHK will nominate its own candidate or who will be the candidate in the 2013 presidential elections and has trouble picturing the BHK as an oppositional party.
Surenyants has the impression that there is still no need for in-depth analyses of Gagik Tsarukyan's statement on not joining the coalition.
"Tsarukyan is talking about constructivism and active efforts without certain emphases."
Suren Surenyants hopes that the Republican Party of Armenia won't politically persecute Gagik Tsarukyan for his decision. The reason for the politologist's panic is that Armenia is not a democratic country.
