Armen Yeritsyan issues statement
Armen Yeritsyan says the information in "Chorort Ishkhanutyun" newspaper's article entitled "Armen Yeritsyan attacked with a mobile phone" is a false, political intrigue.
"Artur Baghdasaryan is my longtime friend and leader of the party, and there couldn't have been such an incident between us. I have known him for a long time and he never makes such remarks. I'm not even talking about how close RA President Serzh Sargsyan and Artur Baghdasaryan are. They are political allies. I consider this a political intrigue and an attempt to thrust a wedge between the partners," the Minister of Emergency Situations mentioned in his statement.
According to the newspaper, Artur Baghdasaryan recently complained about the percentages that his party garnered and blamed Serzh Sargsyan for that, using swear words and underlining that Serzh Sargsyan was a liar.
At that moment, Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan threw his mobile phone at Artur Baghdasaryan and, according to eyewitnesses, the mobile phone hit Baghdasaryan's head.
