HZhK vice-chair: "HAK was left with fewer votes"
I predicted the outcome of the May 6 parliamentary elections, therefore I decided to occupy a lower position on the party list and enable other candidates to take leading positions, says Grigor Harutyunyan, Deputy Chairman of the People's Party of Armenia (HZhK).
He says no elections were held in Armenia in fact and the Armenian National Congress (HAK) ‘was left with fewer votes.'
"Should the country hold free and fair elections, the opposition blog would have scored more than three times as many votes as it is said to have received," he said.
HAK received 106 thousand votes (7.2%) during the May 6 parliamentary elections.
